The CTE/400 equipment is a frequency converter that generates an
a.c. current of 380/220 Va.c. and 400 Hz from a grid voltage of
380/220Va.c. and 50 Hz.
The first step to obtain the required output voltage is to
convert the a.c. input voltage in a d.c. voltage by means of a
three phase rectifier bridge. Then, by using an inverter bridge
with PWM technology the d..c. voltage is converted to 400 Hz
a.c.
The losses in the conversion process are small, obtaining a high
efficiency.
The equipment is provided with start up and complete internal
protections even against shortcircuits and total isolation
between the input and output by means of a transformer.
Besides this, it is robust and easy to use and does not require
a large space.
Life expectancy is higher than 20 years. |
