Gamesa will hold a 60% stake in the new company - which will have its headquarters in Zamudio in the province of Vizcaya - and Arteche will hold the remaining 40% stake through its American subsidiary, Arteche Power Quality. The customers Qgrid Technologies intends to focus on are electricity generation companies throughout the world and the company aims to cover the market for products aimed at managing grid codes.
The joint venture was incorporated with an initial share capital of € 20,000.
