SIERRA MARIA PV PROJECT

CHARACTERISTICS

Sierra Maria Project is a grid connected PV Plant that was designed with a triple purpose:

  • To inject the energy coming from the PV Fields into the grid during the day (conventional operation)

  • To inject the energy coming from the batteries during peak hours (BESS system- load leveling applications)

  • To supply with voltage the town of Sierra Maria and surroundings in case of a long grid absence (UPS System)

The equipments- supplied by ENERTRON-  that make up the PCU (Power Conditioning Unit)

   are:

  • 120 kW Three Phase Inverters, with dual operation, both as a Current Source as well  as  a Voltage Source, a special series of the ACEF-SOLAR.

  • Rectifiers for the battery charging during the night with the energy from the grid.

  • Battery Regulators from the PV Panels.

  • Reactive Compensation and Filtering Units for the Rectifiers.

  • Control Cabinets for the Plant.

  •
