ENERTRON'S FACTORY PV PLANT

 

  

CHARACTERISTICS

  

ENERTRON's factory PV Plant has been made on the two slopes roof of the rectangular ground plan factory of ENERTRON  at Torres de la Alameda. The installation is made of 272 PV modules, divided in 16 groups of 17 modules each. 

 

The inverter is a 20kW ACEF-SOLAR of ENERTRON. This inverter does not need any synchronization circuit with the grid and works either permanently with a programmable power factor to compensate reactive power, or with power factor equal to unity as in the present case. Besides this, as it handles sinusoidal currents, it does not inject harmonics into the grid, and does not require neither special non harmonic filters nor reactive compensation units.      

  

The inverter adapts automatically its dc voltage to the optimum value in terms of the solar radiation received  by the panels, so that at each moment the maximum electric power available is extracted from the PV panels. (Working in MPP)
